The Crafts Council is proud to announce a first of its kind Craft School challenge for primary and secondary teachers wishing to engage learners with exciting craft thinking and making. Created in collaboration with multi-disciplinary UK artist, Crafts Council trustee and all-round craft superstar Yinka Ilori, the challenge will celebrate three vital themes; Play, Storytelling and Empowerment.
Once we launch the challenge in September, schools will be supported with films, toolkits, online CPD events and support from Crafts Council and our education partners. Winners from each key stage will be selected by an expert panel – with prizes giving and celebration happening at the Crafts Council Gallery spring 2022.
Prizes supplied to winners are kindly provided by Cox London.
